Description
Premium Tapered Doug Fir Shafts made and harvested in southern Oregon by Wapiti Archery POC from premium old growth logs. We take our premium parallel shafts and put a 9″ taper on the nock end. Our shafts will have at least one grain that runs end to end, spined within 5 pounds, and grain weighed within 10 grains.
Tapering the shaft allows the arrow to recover quickly and moves the center of gravity forward yielding better flight characteristic. The taper also reduces pressure on the bow greatly reducing feather wear and tear.
